Legals Only and Registry Style

If you just want to get married without all the fuss - I have two great options for you!

1) Legals Only or

2) Registry Style

Legals Only $350

This option is perfect for couples that simply want to be married without having a ceremony. Maybe you have had a big celebration, or are waiting until you can get your entire family together - but just want to be legally married.
This packages fulfils all legal obligations to be married, plus personal vows and ring exchange if you choose. 

Excluding personal vows, this takes approximately five minutes. â€‹

 

Due to the very short nature of this option, my Registry Style option may be more suitable if you would like to have a ceremony with guests, walking down an aisle etc.

What to Expect:

​

Before:

We will arrange a Zoom meeting to lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage, at least one month prior to your wedding date.

​

I will provide you with my service agreement and an invoice, and answer any questions you may have. 

​

I will need to sight some ID from each of you. This is generally:

  • Birth Certificate AND Photo ID or

  • Passport

I will also need to see evidence of any previous marriages being terminated.

​

Day of Event

  • We will meet at our agreed upon location. 

  • I will meet with you both individually to confirm neither of you are being coerced or forced into a marriage. You will then sign the Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage, and I will sign as your witness.

  • I will introduce myself, and my role as an authorised celebrant, before stating the "Monitum" - This outlines the legally binding nature of marriage in accordance with Australian Law. 

  • You will say your legal vows - and then any personal vows if you choose. 

  • We, along with your two witnesses, will sign the three Marriage Certificates.

  • I will register your marriage within 24 hours.

Available weekdays only.

​

Travel within 10km from 4504 is included. If travel to and from your venue is more than a 20km round trip, this will incur additional fee of $1 per km.

Registry Style $450

A short and sweet pre-written ceremony - just like the registry office, but in a location of your choosing! This is a more suitable option if you would like some guests, and some traditional elements too.

What to Expect:

Before:

We will arrange a Zoom meeting to lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage, at least one month prior to your wedding date.

I will provide you with my service agreement and an invoice, and answer any questions you may have. 

​

I will need to sight some ID from each of you. This is generally:

  • Birth Certificate AND Photo ID or

  • Passport

I will also need to see evidence of any previous marriages being terminated.

​

I will send you a short questionnaire to confirm details of your ceremony - eg. music, if you are writing your own vows, if anyone would like to share a reading etc. 

​

Day of Event

  • I will arrive at your location, at least 30minutes prior to the ceremony start time. 

  • I will meet with you both individually to confirm neither of you are being coerced or forced into a marriage. You will then sign the Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage, and I will sign as your witness.

  • I can play music before, and throughout the ceremony.

  • I will introduce myself, and my role as an authorised celebrant, before stating the "Monitum" - This outlines the legally binding nature of marriage in accordance with Australian Law. 

  • If anyone would like to share a reading/poem/words of advice, they are welcome to. 

  • You will say your legal vows - and then any personal vows if you choose. 

  • If you choose to, you will exchange rings. 

  • We, along with your two witnesses, will sign the three Marriage Certificates.

  • I will register your marriage within 24 hours. 
     

Not available Saturdays.

Travel within 20km from 4504 is included. If travel to and from your venue is more than a 40km round trip, this will incur additional fee of $1 per km.
