Jake and Jess
Gold Coast Farmhouse, July 2021
My first love...Well maybe not my first love - but the first love story I was lucky enough to share as a celebrant!
Jess and Jake were a dream to work with - I was given the instructions of "do whatever you want - just make it not shit."
They asked for the ceremony to be short, funny, relaxed, and to include a secret handshake and seven original jokes.
Their ceremony was light and relaxed - with a lot of love. Prior to the ceremony, their Grandparents wrote down some advice for a happy marriage, which I shared on the day. With 121 years of marriage between both sets of Grandparents - they definitely had plenty of experience between them! The ceremony ended with an appearance by surprise Alpacas!
One of my favourite things about their ceremony was how engaged their friends and family were. There was so much love for the couple - you could just feel it when you looked out at all of their smiling faces!
Gold Coast Farmhouse was an incredible venue - and suited their festival vibe perfectly! Food trucks, great music and handmade giant games at the reception made for a night friends and family won't be forgetting anytime soon.
Thank you so much for having me Jake and Jess - I'll be forever grateful my first wedding was so wonderful!
